Acupuncture and Chinese medicine - understanding the cycles of female health from a different perspective

  • Scented Garden Loughbon Nottingham, England, NG13 9NJ United Kingdom (map)

The cycles of female health – from menstruation, to pre- and post-birth and then menopause, are often challenging and emotionally complex times of our lives. For many girls and women, there is a sense of needing to ‘put up’ with the array of symptoms that come with these cycles; symptoms that have been normalised, alongside an often negative narrative.

Join Jenn for an evening of learning a new perspective on female health and understand the eastern view on the positive celebration that comes with these important milestones. Acupuncture can be a very effective treatment in helping to support women’s health and Jenn will be giving an introductory overview to the principles of acupuncture and the benefits it can bring.

For willing participants, Jenn will be offering some simple treatments so everyone can experience acupuncture on the evening. Hope to see you there!

Session led by Jenn Eatherington from Jenn Eatherington Acupuncture, which is based in Bingham.

Investment £20 per person.
