Writing for Wellbeing

  • Scented Garden Loughbon Nottingham, England, NG13 9NJ United Kingdom (map)

Discover the restorative power of words in the peaceful surroundings of The Scented Garden.

This welcoming workshop offers an opportunity to explore creative and expressive writing as a pathway to greater wellbeing. Through a series of gentle, inspiring exercises, you'll be invited to reflect, imagine, create and connect with your own unique voice.

Writing for wellbeing is a well-established practice that can help us gain perspective, express ourselves more freely, reduce stress, and nurture creativity. Whether you write regularly or haven't put pen to paper in years, this workshop is open to everyone. No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Nigel has been facilitating creative writing workshops for wellbeing for over fifteen years and creates a relaxed, supportive environment where everyone can participate at their own pace.

All you need is something to write with and something to write on. You may be surprised by the stories, insights and creativity waiting to emerge.

Investment £20 per person. With all proceeds going to support Special Needs Children in rural Kenya.
